Heather is an in-network provider with many major insurances. Should you choose to utilize your insurance benefits, Heather submits claims directly to your insurance company for your convenience. Insurance plans and coverage levels vary, so you are encouraged to check with your carrier regarding your policy's mental health coverage. For example, some clients may have a co-pay for each office visit, while others may have a deductible amount they need to meet before insurance begins to offer reimbursement. Clients are responsible for any balance remaining after contracted insurance adjustments and payments.
If Heather is an out-of-network provider for your insurance company, you will then be given a "super bill" that outlines all the information your insurance company will want to know for you to submit to them for potential reimbursement directly to you and to be applied towards your out-of-network expenses. Again, all insurance companies and policies differ, so you are encouraged to call the Member Services number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your out-of-network benefits, should this be an avenue you are interested in pursuing.
Many times, individuals choose not to utilize insurance benefits. These clients are considered "self-pay" and are given a discounted rate. Self-pay clients are responsible for payment at the time of service. Statements are mailed out monthly, and email invoices are sent out via Square for the option of a convenient online credit card payment.
Heather never wants financial concerns to be a barrier to treatment, thus payment plans are also available. Additionally, she accepts all major forms of payment including cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and HSA plans.
